What Zaps is, how to join, what zaps are, the scores behind your rank, and clans.
Zaps ranks onchain traders by what they really do. It reads your wallets, scores the activity that is real, and puts you on public boards. Activity Markets pick their Miners from Zaps members, so your Zaps account is your seat at every market.
Join in four steps
Sign in with X or a wallet
X gives you a public social identity and a wallet gives you an onchain one. You can start with a wallet and add X later. To be paid as a Miner or to lead a clan, you need a verified X.
Link your wallets
Link up to 10 wallets by signing a message that costs nothing. Pick one as primary and change it later from your profile. Zaps reads their activity. It can never trade or move funds. With an X identity, the mapping to linked wallets stays private. With wallet-only login, that wallet is your public identity.
See where you stand
Zaps reads what your wallets have already done and gives you a welcome grant of zaps and a Trader Score. Before you sign in, you can paste any address on the home page to see where it stands.
Join a clan
This step is optional. You can join multiple clans. Public clans let you in after the entry fee. Private clans hold the fee during review and return it if you are denied.
What zaps are
Zaps is the product. zaps, lowercase, is the unit inside it. zaps are your standing on the network: earned by real activity, and spent on actions that should cost something.

Spend zaps to join or create clans, endorse someone, flag someone with a reason attached, or permanently vouch for a creator. Endorsing costs a small zaps fee and flagging costs more, so a signal is never free to send. A creator can lock zaps on their own profile for a fixed period to show the Staked badge. The lock pays no yield and boosts no score.
zaps do not buy mining rights, and Miners are not paid in zaps. Miners are paid in USDC, and your activity decides your rank. Campaign zaps are separate: they measure activity toward one protocol's goal during one campaign, and they are the share key for that campaign's funded pool. Read the Campaign Flow.
The scores
Trader Score is a 0 to 1000 measure of you as a trader. It combines verified trading performance, zScore, community standing, contribution, and zaps held. Trading counts the most, and a balance alone cannot take over the score. Raise it by linking the wallets you really use and trading consistently on DEXs and perps.
Creator Score is a separate 0 to 1000 measure of a clan leader. It grows with the quality of connected clan members and the permanent vouches people are willing to burn zaps on. A big audience alone does not make it strong.
zScore is ZeruAI's 0 to 1000 view of your longer DeFi history: trading, lending, liquidity, staking, and how many protocols you use. Previewing it costs nothing. Minting the zScore NFT is optional.
Clans
Creators run clans and traders join the ones they believe in. One creator can own one clan. A trader can join multiple clans, and inside a campaign counts toward the one clan they registered with. Clans compete on public boards that update daily. To start one, read Lead a clan.
