Mining

What counts, how the daily board picks Miners, how you claim your USDC, and how to reserve your spot before genesis.

Coming soon

Activity Markets are not live yet, so nobody is mining yet. This page shows how it will work. You can reserve your spot once a market opens for it.

Mining here is not hashing. A Miner is a wallet that gets paid from a market because its real activity is part of what makes that ecosystem worth a market.

The daily board

  1. Your activity

Fees you pay, interest you pay, and capital you supply are scored.

  2. Ranked

Every member wallet is ranked. The top 250 are in the running.

  3. Picked

The draw is seeded by the auction's closing block, so nobody can steer it.

  • Top 10

Paid every day, split by score.

  • Fifteen more

Drawn from ranks 11 to 250. Higher score, better odds.

Claim your USDC

Your pay waits onchain. Claim one day or many at once.

Every day of the season, 25 Miners are paid.

What counts

The board ranks every wallet by what its activity cost to produce.

  • Counts: fees paid on trades, interest paid on borrows, and capital supplied to lending and liquidity, weighted by how long it stayed and what it earned.
  • Does not count: wash trades, trading the market's own token, raw volume, wallet count, or tasks.

A wallet can never be paid more than its activity cost it, so washing costs what it earns at any size. Wallets funded from one source count as one Miner. Holding the market's token adds a small, capped bonus. Holding alone can never rank a wallet.

The daily board

Every day Zeru publishes the ranked list and commits its hash before the auction opens, so nobody can change it afterwards. The board has three tabs: Today, Season, and Referrers.

The top 250 are in the running every day, and 25 Miners are paid:

  • The top 10 by score, guaranteed.
  • Fifteen more, drawn from ranks 11 to 250 with odds that follow score. Your odds are printed on your row. The draw is seeded by the auction's closing block, so nobody can steer it.

Getting paid

Miners are paid in USDC from that day's auction proceeds. The top 10 split the larger share in proportion to score, and the fifteen drawn share the rest equally. Miners also earn a share of the pool's trading fee. If nobody bids, there is nothing to pay that day, so every Miner has a daily reason to bring bidders.

Claiming. Each day's pay is published onchain as one summary anyone can check. After a short safety delay you claim your USDC yourself, with your own transaction. No vesting, and nothing is paid in the token. Pay you have not claimed carries over, so you can claim several days at once.

Before genesis: reserve your spot

Press Reserve your spot on the market page. It costs nothing, and one wallet takes one spot. Your wallet is then scored from the first day of the season.

The first 25 Miners are picked for genesis from recent history plus a registration window. They are paid their share of the genesis raise in USDC when the genesis auction settles.

Who can be paid

Only Zaps members appear on the daily board, and a wallet is paid only after its owner verifies X. The genesis board also shows top wallets that have not joined yet, marked as not members. They are paid only once they join Zaps and verify X.

Open a Zaps account and verify X

Start with X, or start with a wallet and add X later. Read Zaps and your account.

The board reads the same wallets that build your Trader Score. A wallet you never link is a wallet that never ranks.

Reserve, then keep doing real work

Reserve your spot before genesis. After that, check your row each day and claim what you earn.

Referrers

Any Zaps member can share a referral link. Anyone who joins through it is credited to you for the season. Every time they bid in the auction, a small share of their bid is paid to you, taken before the day's split. It is one level only: you earn from the people you bring, not from the people they bring. The Referrers tab shows who is bringing buyers to the market.
